Teaching Unplugged (Adult)

This one week course for practising language teachers comprises 25 hours of classroom tuition. Teaching unplugged moves the focus away from published materials and onto the learners: their conversation, their lives, their language. Through a series of interactive, hands-on workshops, participants will explore the thinking behind this approach – and try out a range of classroom activities to see how it works in practice. In addition to conversation, we will explore working organically with texts and technology, focusing on the language that emerges from classroom interaction.
