Motivating Activities for Language Learning
Motivation is surely one of the most important factors in determining whether language learning will happen. Students who want to learn a language and enjoy coming to class will be far more likely to progress than those who do not.
This two week course for practising language teachers comprises 50 hours of classroom tuition, and explores a wealth of activities which aim to foster motivation in language learners of all ages and levels.
Through a series of enjoyable and practical workshops participants will experience and reflect on a variety of ways of increasing motivation in speaking, listening, reading and writing activities, as well as in presentation and practice of new language.
The town of Totnes is situated in an area of outstanding natural beauty and cultural interest. Organised group outings, based on the wishes of the group, are included in the course price.
