Accommodation
Most people opt for accommodation with a host family. Not only does this offer the best value for money, but it can also provide a memorable experience of shared learning for both the guest and the host. Our ‘families’ are all carefully selected and can be a single person or a couple, with or without children. We will do our best to meet individual preferences wherever possible.
Participants can expect to be met from the bus or train station on their day of arrival, shown how to get to the course venue (usually not more than a ten minute walk away) and generally made to feel welcome. On a day-to-day basis, they can expect their own bedroom, a quiet place to study, breakfast and a home-cooked evening meal. A packed lunch can be provided, however for those that prefer to eat out there is a wide range of options to suit all pockets and tastes within easy reach of the school.
As Totnes is a popular tourist town there are also a variety of self catering options, as well as guest houses and hotels available.
